Security teams rushed to trace the source, but every system in the courthouse had already been overridden. Not hacked in a normal way—this was surgical. Precise. Internal.
Outside, the world watched in real time as the livestream froze, then resumed with a corrupted timestamp.
Millions of viewers were still connected.
John remained still at the defense table. Calm. Observing.
Amber, however, was no longer in control. For the first time, her hands were shaking—not from emotion, but from fear of exposure.
The judge ordered an emergency halt.

Gasps filled the courtroom.
