CHAPTER 5: THE MAN IN THE WHITE SHIRT

By sunset, news broke.

Not loud.

Not dramatic.

Just precise.

TechNova leadership restructuring.

Unexpected acquisition completion.

Entire executive board replaced within hours.

No interviews followed.

No press conference.

Only a single internal memo:

“Control has been reassigned.”

Outside the building, the valet was gone.

So was the supervisor.

So were the SUVs.

Only the man in the white shirt remained—standing alone at the edge of the plaza again.

The same place where it had started.

A reporter approached from a distance, trying to shout a question.

He didn’t stop.

Didn’t turn.

Didn’t acknowledge them.

A Porsche pulled up quietly beside him.

Driver door opened.

He got in.

Before closing the door, he paused for half a second.

And for the first time—

a faint expression crossed his face.

Not pride.

Not anger.

Just exhaustion.

May you like

The door closed.

And the car disappeared into Miami traffic like it had never been there at all.
